You’ve done 18 films. Did Bollywood seem like a crazy place when you first entered?
Five years ago, most of the filmmakers I was working with in Bollywood would improvise on the spot, either writing the dialogues the night before or on the set. That was hard. But where I started out (with Telugu cinema), you had the dialogues and a bound script months in advance.

You were born in Hong Kong, grew up in England, first spotted in Hawaii, turned to modelling at 14... and now you’re probably the number one Bollywood heroine now. Did you know this was going to happen?
No. I’ve never made a plan for my life. I have just taken whatever opportunities have come and been very genuine with them.

The actress Katrina Kaif who got deglamorised with cotton sarees and dull make-up in Prakash Jha’s ‘Raajneeti’ has said goodbye to her boring avatar. The actress will now be doing an item song in Farah Khan’s flick ‘Tees Maar Khan.’

The sources say that the young lady has personally bought all the accessories for getting the perfect item girl look in the movie.Talking about her shopping, the actress said, “It is a challenge doing a complete look for my character. I guess I learnt that from ‘Raajneeti.’ Every accessory makes you feel more like the character.”

And no, Miss Piggy Chops is not playing any spy role but will be present on the sets as a part of the movie.Reports suggest that the much talked about Anurag Basu flick ‘Khamoshi’ will not only have Ranbir and Katrina but also Priyanka in the lead role.

Thereby, leaving little or no chance for any romantic alliance between the dishy Kapoor scion and his latest fixation Kat.Confirming the news a source said, “Anurag Basu is currently trying to finalise the dates as Priyanka is also committed to Don 2 with Farhan Akhtar and Shah Rukh Khan”.

By now you must have got the breaking news that Sahara Group won the bid for the IPL team Pune for a staggering $370 million yesterday. Along with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor there was another Bollywood couple who participated in the bid. Both Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were present in Chennai for the bidding of the new IPL teams but they placed the bids separately.

The Barbie doll of Bollywood was there representing Matrix along with the Adani Group from Ahmedabad and was vying for Pune team, as was Salman. However, Salman made a separate bid. Why?Katrina clarified this to a tabloid: “I wasn’t bidding with Salman…I was not bidding at all. Salman had put in a separate bid.”

There were many reports suggesting that, Katrina Kaif was suddenly taken ill, during the shooting of the film ‘Tees Maar Khan’.Now, after going through with an appendix operation and then having to report right back on work, due to her commitments, probably made her immune system go bonkers, that’s what many people thought.

But on Sunday evening, Katrina was spotted getting into a rickshaw in Andheri along with her business manager.It transpires that the actress had come to catch a movie at a suburban multiplex but when she came out after the screening, she just couldn’t figure out where her driver was.

An eyewitness reveals, "Dressed in jeans and a tee, Katrina was accompanied by her manager and bodyguards. She had come to catch Ishqiya. After the show, at around 10.30 pm, she came out and was trying to call her driver to get the car. Being a weekend there was a lot of traffic."
