Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif apologized for her remarks on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi that drew her into a pool of controversy in the recent past. She said that she was 'extremely sorry' for the remarks that she had made in comparing herself with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Kaif said that she feels that the comments have been taken out of context and urged that media should not create a controversy out of it as the statement was not made in the way it was presented.
In an earlier interview to a daily she had commented that she was 'half-Indian' like Rahul Gandhi. She had said that she was 'half Asian' and 'half European' like Rahul Gandhi. Her comments were not accepted lightly by Congress party member and attracted criticisms from them.
