Bollywood’s hottest cat Katrina Kaif is gung ho about her upcoming film ‘Rajneeti’ based on Indian political sphere. For the 1st time in her career, she’s playing such a meaty and woman-centric character and it’s going to be a landmark film for her.

Though, it was being touted that her role in the film is loosely based on Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s life, she has said that she took the necessary homework hints by following Sonia’s daughter Priyanka Gandhi. But, Kat regrets the fact that she never could meet the late Indian prime minister Mrs Indira Gandhi (who was assassinated in the 80s), who is the mother-in-law of Sonia Gandhi.

Katrina is proud of her socially-active mother and follows her ideals closely. But, beside her mom, Katty finds the enigmatic Indira Gandhi as the epitome of feminine power and grace and calls her the woman who still inspires her posthumous. “It’s always a pleasure to broaden your horizons. My only regret is I can’t meet Mrs Indira Gandhi. Apart from my mother, she’s the woman who has inspired me the most,” says the girlfriend of Salman Khan. On a concluding note, since ‘Rajneeti’ is almost ready for release, we wish Katrina comes out with flying colours in this film.
